Verde Island
A trip to Isla Verde is one of the best dive sites in the Philippines and probably in the world.
On the small island of Verde, located between the islands of Mindoro and Luzon, the deep walls and sea current conditions have provided a diversity of species that is difficult to find elsewhere in the world - biologists have discovered more than 500 species of corals and rare marine organisms here.

The Philippine Tourism Association has consistently listed Verde Island as one of the best marine protected areas in the country.
Facts about Verde
  • Water temperature
Due to underwater springs, the water on Verde is 2-3 degrees warmer than elsewhere in the Philippines, which has served to form a unique marine macro-system.
  • Volcanic activity
Because of the volcanic activity, during the dives you can see a unique picture - hundreds of bubbles coming out of the ground.
  • Underwater visibility
In addition to the diverse marine life, the island of Verde boasts clear water with excellent visibility.
  • Flora and fauna
The unique diversity and richness of the underwater world - a mass of rare organisms, as well as a picturesque wall, completely covered with colorful soft corals.
  • Wrecked Fleet with Chinese Porcelain
The site boasts real underwater treasures - fragments of porcelain from Spanish galleons that sank in these parts centuries ago. The first galleon sank in 1620 when it struck the reef off the southern coast of Verde. Almost nothing remains of the ship itself, but at the bottom you can still see fragments of Chinese porcelain made in the 16-17 centuries.
  • Currents
Both dives are only suitable for experienced divers because of the strong currents around the island. At times, due to the nature of the currents, the water passing through all the canyons creates a "washing machine effect. One second the current can take you into one canyon and the next second it can take you into another canyon.
